About The Bridal Finery

The Bridal Finery opened in 2017 in Winter Park, FL. The boutique is owned by two local Orlando women. The boutique offers off-the-rack and special order wedding dresses. During a private bridal appointment, brides will work one on one with a bridal stylist to find their wedding dress and accessories. We provide a full customer service experience throughout the client’s engagement from the initial connection until their walk down the aisle. We host in-house alteration fittings and in-store trunk show events. Our sample sizes range from 2-18. Price ranges from $2,500 to $13,000. 

The Position

We are hiring for a part-time Operations Assistant . We are looking for a motivated, positive, outgoing, dedicated, and driven assistant stylist to enhance our customer experience. Assist the owners during their appointments including note-taking, among other tasks. Assist with social media to expand our client reach, build brand awareness and increase sales.

Schedule

Three weekdays and three Saturdays a month. Flexible hours based on your school schedule.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who knows how to set goals and exceed expectations. We value good communication, resilience, cultural understanding, and a strong ability to learn and solve problems. Must have the ability to build and cultivate relationships.

Assistant Stylist Internship Responsibilities:

Includes but is not limited to:

  • Write notes during appointments

  • Take photos for the client’s file 

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures

  • Assist in bridal sales, alteration appointments, and daily retail operations. 

  • Assist in inventory control

  • Filing paperwork

  • Assist with social media content

  • Merchandising wedding dresses and accessories

Requirements:

  • Represents themselves in a professional manner 

  • High School Diploma or GED; 18 and up

  • Has reliable transportation

  • Understands the power of social media

  • Is confident and enthusiastic when presenting the information

  • Has natural curiosity, is passionate and has a strong desire to learn

  • Is highly organized to document all notes with current accounts and potential accounts

This position is part-time. You would be working at the boutique including most Saturdays. Must be available evenings and weekends for appointments, and wedding shows. 

Starting Pay $12/hour
