Bold and Colorful Custom Ceremony Backdrop for a bridal Fashion Presentation!
Our Fashion Presentations take current trends and add a layer of unexpected fun and fashion. They are a maximalist version of real weddings with unique color schemes and unconventional floral designs. One of these concepts we pushed the envelope on is color. In the midst of a pandemic and chaos, we thought the world could use some playful color!
Large custom color blocked backdrop boards were the perfect base for our colorful experience. Treasury Rentals is known for its dishware, tabletop flatware, and glassware however, they do create custom pieces like installations and backdrops. Emily created the perfect and most fun piece. The installation was completed with colorful roses, giant succulents, and hand-painted smoke bush by Bluegrass Chic!
Color blocking is a fun way to bring in layers of color. Our shop is a light ivory color with bright natural lighting and light grey floors so the explosion of color through an art installation and floral design made for a statement event! Attending guests fell in love with the unique backdrop and eccentric color scheme.

We are serving matcha each week during our fashion presentations! This week we served a pumpkin spice latte flavored cedd tea. The drink was cold and sweet and tasted like a cookie. Below are the instructions for making the drink. Remember, I am not a barista so this may not be the propper way of making matcha, but it tasted good to us! :)
How we made it:
6-second count of oat milk
add Healing Butterfly’s Pumpkin Spice matcha
A tiny pour of maple syrup
Mix with milk frother tool
serve over ice
enjoy!

Because this week’s floral and installation design was bold, we wanted to keep the fashion fairly muted and understated. Gowns designed of silk crepe, tulle, and lace were chosen. The fan-favorite from the presentation was the Sasha gown by Ines Di Santo. The Sasha gown is a petal pink dress that features a corset lingerie style bodice with a thin strap and caged skirt that is completed with large floral appliques.
