The Style Guide for Your Honeymoon Outfits

The Style Guide For Your Honeymoon Outfits

Every month we release a new guide for our brides. We search through our top fashion resources and consult with trusted fashion experts to provide you with the latest fashion tips and advice. We are excited to share with you our guide for honeymoon outfits! You can check out other other guides here: alterations, wedding shoes, and white rehearsal dinner dresses. Our first honeymoon wardrobe guide is geared more towards a warmer climate since majority of our brides are having more tropical getaways. If you are having a snowy honeymoon, feel free to reach out for other suggestions. We are always here to help.

Now let’s head to the paradise! Being Florida girls, we already feel like we have the inside scoop on how to enjoy the white sandy beaches the most. From honeymoon dresses for a sunset dinner to accessories you can rock on your flight, we hope you enjoy our honeymoon outfits guide. Always feel free to contact us here with questions. We will do our best to update the guide to make sure you can shop for pieces we are featuring.

Our Favorite Honeymoon Outfits

We are seeing more and more of our brides wearing white to their bridal shopping appointments at our Orlando bridal shop. The trend of white clothing for anything bridal related won’t be going away anytime soon. After all, white has been the signature color for bridal clothing for decades. This trend relates to honeymoon outfits as well. Don’t be afraid of some bright, tropical colors to go with your new sun-kissed tan; however, make sure to have at least one white outfit for your a romantic beach dinner. Here are some of our favorite looks from online retailers. If you prefer to shop local in Orlando, here are shops to visit: Shop Moda, House on Lang, Sultre Boutique.

Also, check out this space-saving packing guide from the famous organizing guru, Marie Kondo. Quick fact, I traveled to Southeast Asia with my husband for 10 days and we each took one carry-on bag. It was so nice not lugging bulky luggage around from country to country. We set up dry cleaning at the hotels and never had to carry around dirty clothing. If you are going on an adventurous honeymoon, this pay be an idea to consider.

Bridal Lingerie for your Honeymoon

Before I started styling brides for the aisle, I managed a lingerie shop and helped brides with their honeymoon pieces. When it comes to bridal lingerie just like wedding dresses everyone has a different style. Looking at all the different lingerie designers out there, I always consider the timeless pieces first. The quality of the lingerie is what makes it so special and a keepsake. Nothing is worse than a cheap, scratchy lace. Even if you aren’t a big lingerie person, your honeymoon is the perfect time to invest in 2-3 nice lingerie pieces you feel romantic and dreamy in.

When shopping for bridal lingerie, don’t feel you have to buy sets. As long as the color shade is the same, it will look beautiful to mix and match. If you tend to like underwire in your every day, you should check out underwire lingerie. if you are all about comfort, consider a bralette. Just like wedding dresses, it’s best to stick to your true style. Feeling like yourself is always the best way to feel confident and sexy.

At The Bridal Finery we feature a collection of bridal lingerie pieces made from our favorite U.S. designer, Anita. Anita has traveled all over Europe to find the most incredible French laces. We have hand selected particular pieces from her lingerie collection to feature inside our store as well as our online boutique. Here are some of our favorites from our lingerie designer as well as other brands we adore.

Cover ups to Pair with your Honeymoon Outfits

When you are shopping for your honeymoon pieces it’s best to consider pieces that are versatile and can fold up easily in your luggage. Cover ups can be paired with your lingerie and swimwear. A cover up may even be your getting ready robe you wore on wedding day and can now be repurposed as a fun honeymoon piece. Here are a collection of cover ups we recommend for your wedding day, honeymoon, and ever after.

Accessories to Pair with your Honeymoon Style

For your honeymoon outfit accessories, have fun! Accessories are all about finishing and personalizing the look. Naturally, I’m not one to stack tons of jewelry; however, your honeymoon calls for a fun, sassy earring, sunglasses, or hat. Why not? You possibly over researched your wedding dress and other wedding day accessories down to the very fine detail. Now is your time to be carefree and enjoy styling your honeymoon outfits. One of my favorite orlando shops is Miscellaneous. This sister duo has style! Their boutique features a lively collection of gifts and accessories. For the online shoppers, here are some brands we found and loved online…

Thank you for reading our guide. I hope you found some special pieces for your upcoming honeymoon.
