Top 3 Dresses from the Ines Di Santo Fall 2020 Collection
Ines Di Santo is among the most sought after wedding dress designers. Let’s take a look at the top three dresses from the Ines Di Santo Fall 2020 Collection.
In the bridal industry, the name Ines Di Santo is usually followed by some sort of praise or envy for the powerhouse she has become amongst the top wedding gown designers in the world. I personally am still a newcomer to working with her designs, but in the short time I have worked with her collections I have seen why she is one of our most desired designers. Her vision is always to make the bride look and feel her best with every piece she creates, and it is no wonder we are seeing so many celebrities wearing her down the red carpet and also down the aisle. Her latest collection ‘Under the Impression’ for the Fall 2020 season is, of course, another home run hit and I am so excited to share some of that magic with you today! Ines was inspired by artwork from the Impressionist movement for this collection with their unique use of color, texture, and light which she channeled to create these gowns. There is such a dynamic mix of style incorporated into this line that it felt like there was something for everyone which just shows the amount of talent she and her team are blessed with. I am going to share my top three favorites from ‘Under the Impression’ with you today to get you excited for fall wedding season!
Isabelle
The first of my top gowns from this collection is a dramatic ball gown masterpiece named ‘Isabelle’. This wedding dress is a show stopper for me. If you want that princess feel with a modern flair, this will stop you in your tracks. The fully embellished off the shoulder corset bodice cinches the waist and stuns with a delicate open illusion back that will literally turn heads when you pass by. Follow that with the soft layered ball gown skirt splashed with intricate sparkle front to back and this is a modern fairytale all on its own. I love the attention to detail in this gown and any bride who wants the fairytale flutters will fall in love with the creation too.
Margot
Now I switch gears completely for my next favorite with the sleek and sexy ‘Margot’ gown. This fitted strapless gown is simply glamorous in all the right ways. The soft satin fits to the body with it’s natural waist wrap detail and the sexy front slit is another detail to enhance the modern elegance of this dress. My favorite detail of Margot is the modified strapless illusion top that drops to a fully open illusion back which is that stop traffic moment every bride hopes to have. Adding the detachable bow train gives this designer wedding dress yet another layer of simplistic drama and elegance for a picturesque look to walk down the aisle. The Margot may not be a glittered ball gown, but it has a presence of its own that grabs the attention of every eye in the room.
Optimist
My last but in no way least favorite Ines Di Santo wedding dress from the fall 2020 collection is the ‘Optimist’ gown. This dress is unique, dramatic, and elegant all in one and shows how you can be bold with your wedding dress and still feel like a bride. The first thing you will notice is its non traditional coloration. Instead of an ivory or blush tone it is fully hand painted with intricate flowers that look like a watercolor painting with its brush strokes and soft palette of blues and greens. The trumpet silhouette of this dress is modernized with a fluffy layered peplum waist that I absolutely love with its volume and texture of different fabrics underneath the hand painted silk top layer. There are still hints of traditional detail like the strapless corset bodice which is a soft ivory tone adorned with a floral embroidered detail that trickles down to the waist. The Optimist is a modern masterpiece on the traditional wedding dress that gives you drama, shape, texture, and softness that leaves a lasting impression when the hand painted train sweeps past you. Styled with a dramatic veil and surrounded by fluffy florals and romantic details, the Optimist bride would embody how the modern bride is taking bold leaps in 2020.
So there you have it. My top 3 favorites from the Ines Di Santo fall 2020 bridal collection that stood out from the rest. The mix of shapes and textures within ‘Under the Impression’ gives you so many options in style and I love how she was able to create that with keeping a flow between them all. Each gown had its own personality and if you loved these three I highly encourage you to take a peek at the whole collection! I hope my favorites will help get you a little more hyped for the upcoming fall wedding season.
