How did you and your partner meet?: We met casually at Florida International University at a Black Student Union event. With a mutual friend, we conversed, ate, and innocently exchanged social media handles. A year later we began communicating more frequently, grew a friendship that eventually evolved into the most beautiful relationship one could ever ask for.

A beautiful couple

How did your partner propose?: It was my birthday weekend, Friday, November 1st, Darnell gets a phone call from a friend inviting him last minute to go on a yacht. With some resistance, I agreed to go. To my surprise, our friends and family were there. The chartered yacht was for me. ( Something I've always wanted to do). Two hours later, after all the fun, from eating, jet skiing, swimming in the ocean, he popped the question. Right when I thought I couldn't be anymore happier. Best birthday ever.

How Amazing is this photo!

What was your wedding dress shopping experience like?: Amazing !! Best shopping experience ever. Best customer service ever. Highlight and one of my favorite parts in planning a wedding.

SO amazing!

What are you most excited about for your wedding?: To wear my dress and see all my family and friends and have FUN and dance the night away.

So cool!
SO in love!

Favorite/and least favorite part of planning a wedding?: My least favorite is creating a guest list, and that was only because there were people I wanted to invite but couldn’t. My favorite is to see my vision come to life as well.

SO cute!

Advice for other brides: Don't stress the small stuff. Enjoy as much as you can, and let it be.

so beautiful!
