A beautiful moment captured of the bride and groom!

How did you & your partner meet? : We met in 2017, right after Hurricane Irma.

Where was your first date? : Our first date was in Lake Nona.

A beautiful first day for this couple!

How did your partner propose? : My husband proposed to me in Winter Park, Fl on Park Ave. Park Ave is a very special place for us because a lot of our early dates took place here. He decided to choose a random Saturday to propose. I had just finished showering when he called saying he was hungry & suggested we eat in Winter Park. Once we parked, I couldn't figure out which direction we needed to go to get to the restaurant. He somehow got me to sit on a bench in Park Ave. I was so focused on finding directions, that I did not see him pull out the ring from his pocket. As he was about to propose, I got up because I had found directions & began walking. When I turned around to tell him, is when he proposed. I was completely taken by surprise. I always joke; my hair and makeup were not done. My sister in law was able to capture some beautiful pictures.

What was your dress shopping experience like? : My dress shopping experience was one of a kind! The Bridal Finery was my first appointment for the day when I began dress shopping. As soon as my family and I entered the shop, we were greeted with warmth. After I tried on a dress that Tali chose it was a wrap! I knew this was the place I wanted to buy my dress from. I canceled all other appointments I had in the day and celebrated finding a dress! Sarah (their seamstress) was AMAZING with alteration & she helped to create my dream dress.

Our bride in her lace Pronovias wedding dress, ready for day two!

What did you wish you knew before you started wedding planning?: I wish I did more research with decorations. The decorations came out pretty, but there were ways I could have saved money & did not figure that out until later on.

All lace everything!

Where was your wedding? What did you decide on that space?: My indian ceremony was at Shri Laxshmi Narayan Mandhir and my reception venue was at Holy Trinity Reception Center. I decided on these spaces because it was important for my indian ceremony be done at a temple. The reception venue was able to house the 300 guests I had. Which is very difficult to find venues with such a large capacity.

What's your favorite memory from your event? : My favorite memory is my husband seeing me for the first time in both my indian attire & reception gown. Those moments are priceless.

Gorgeous photo of the bride and groom.

What is a 'must-have' for brides on the wedding day?: You need at least 2 friends or family members from your side and your husband's side who you trust can do last-minute tasks. There are a lot of small things and questions that are asked & it’s important you have someone you trust who can assist with these things. Personally I think wedding planners are a waste of money. But if you prefer a wedding planner, that is fine too. Just make sure you have someone you can rely on to do last-minute tasks the day of.

Love this photo of the bride and groom in Nandie’s veil.

How would you describe the overall feel of your event? : My priority was for everyone to have fun & enjoy themselves. All I felt the entire weekend was happiness & the pictures also show that.

What wedding planning advice do you have for other brides? : Remember to breathe and enjoy the day. Your wedding day is truly a magical day. You worked so hard & its important you enjoy the day

So much love and happiness!

Where was your honeymoon? : We went to Barbados at the Sandals Resort.

And they lived happily ever after…
