About The Bridal Finery

The Bridal Finery opened in 2017 in Winter Park, FL. The boutique is locally owned and operated by two Orlando women. The boutique offers off-the-rack and special order wedding dresses. During a private bridal appointment, brides will work one-on-one with a stylist to find their wedding dress and accessories. We provide a full customer service experience throughout the bride’s engagement from the initial connection until their walk down the aisle. We host in-house alteration fittings and in-store trunk show events. Our sample sizes range from 2-18. Price ranges from $3,500 to $15,000.

Benefits: 

$50,000 - $70,000 for full-time salary and commission

Hours & Schedule: 

A set schedule is provided. The evenings and weekends are the busiest time in the salon so this position requires working at least three Saturdays per month. The boutique is closed on Sundays; however, occasionally open for bridal events 4-8 times a year. 

Bridal Sales & Styling

The Bridal Stylist is tasked with enhancing revenue generation by skillfully promoting and selling our bridal collection. This position requires the development of robust connections with clients, a deep comprehension of their preferences, and collaboration with internal teams to guarantee flawless execution. The Bridal Stylist holds a pivotal role in achieving sales objectives, upholding customer satisfaction, and making significant contributions to the overall success of The Bridal Finery. Applicants should thrive in a dynamic, small business environment, ready to embrace a collaborative spirit where wearing multiple hats and contributing across various aspects of the operation is a valued and integral part of the role.

Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Create and execute successful sales strategies to meet financial goals.

  • Take initiative in discovering and pursuing new prospects through lead generation and networking efforts.

  • Guide potential clients on salon tours, highlighting the unique features of The Bridal Finery pieces and services.

  • Skillfully negotiate and prepare special orders, ensuring terms align with the shop's policies.

  • Develop a relationship-selling-based book of clientele to build referrals. 

Client Care & Experience

  • Style customers from head-to-toe, including wedding dresses, hairpieces, veils, undergarments, and jewelry.

  • Comprehend clients' desires and preferences, presenting personalized solutions to craft a distinct wedding look.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, serving as the primary point of contact for clients during the entire planning journey.

  • Efficiently convey and articulate the distinctive preferences and requirements of each client to the seamstress, fostering a collaborative and communicative environment that ensures precise tailoring and alterations.

  • Establish and nurture robust connections with clients, wedding planners, and industry collaborators.

Team Collaboration

  • Engage with marketing teams to create promotional materials and actively participate in marketing initiatives to enhance the bridal shop's visibility and appeal.

  • Follow up on all purchase orders and off-the-rack sales with the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

  • Actively engage in regular monthly meetings to contribute insights, share updates, and collaborate with team members on key initiatives and objectives.

  • Assist in the execution of trunk shows and in-store events.

  • Follow merchandise guidelines in maintaining the floor and backroom area throughout the day.

  • Comprehensive opening and closing operations of the bridal shop, involving thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure impeccable hygiene standards and a pristine presentation.

  • Return all communication (phone calls, texts, or e-mails) within 24 hours.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of sales experience with products valued at $2,000 and up. If you do not have this experience, please do not apply. We recommend applying to the the Accessories Sales & Styling position.

  • Dedicated to prioritizing the needs of customers with an enthusiasm for providing outstanding service experiences

  • 18 & Up

The Bridal Finery’s ideal Bridal Stylist:

  • Is highly organized and documents all notes with current accounts and potential accounts.

  • Represents themselves in a professional manner 

  • Is confident and enthusiastic when presenting information to decision-makers.

  • Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel to meetings. 

  • Understands the power of social media.

  • Has natural curiosity, is passionate, and has a strong desire to learn.

  • Is consistent and persistent with follow-ups to potential clients to close sales.

  • You are outgoing and comfortable making sales calls with an excellent phone presence.
