About The Bridal Finery

The Bridal Finery opened in 2017 in Winter Park, FL. The boutique offers off-the-rack and special order wedding dresses. During a private bridal appointment, brides will work one on one with a stylist to find their wedding dress and accessories. We provide a full customer service experience throughout the client’s engagement until their walk down the aisle. We host in-house alteration fittings and in-store trunk show events. Our sample sizes range from 0-16. Price ranges from $1,800 to $13,000. 

The Position

We are hiring for a full-time Business Development. We are looking for a motivated, positive, outgoing, dedicated and driven Business Development to expand our client reach, build brand awareness and increase sales in 2021.

We are locally owned and operated. Our small team works together to achieve our company goals. The position includes a variety of settings such as our retail stores, networking events, trade shows, and venue tours. 

The Business Development role is tasked with generating new revenue streams and hitting traffic goals by building relationships and nurturing our local wedding vendor community. They will be responsible for hosting vendor meetings, operating photo shoots, and engaging with potential clients.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who knows how to set goals and exceed expectations. We value good communication, resilience, cultural understanding, and strong ability to learn and solve problems. Must have the ability to build and cultivate relationships.

Business Development Responsibilities:

Includes but not limited to:

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly company sales targets and daily habits

  • Engage with leads and convert them to future bridal appointments. This includes phone calls and social media channels. 

  • Write articles for PR opportunities 

  • Tour venues in the Central Florida area and build relationships with their team. 

  • Host boutique tours and vendor meetings. 

  • Plan and execute our annual fashion presentation for vendors.

  • Execute photo shoots and build relationships with the vendor team. 

  • Attend networking events including morning, daytime and evening meetings.

  • Write blog posts for The Bridal Finery and other local vendor websites. 

  • Manage and grow our Pinterest account to help expand SEO reach. 

  • Assist in bridal sales, alteration appointments, and daily retail operations. 

Requirements:

● Has at least 2 years of proven sales experience

● Represents themselves in a professional manner 

● Has reliable transportation and is willing to travel to meetings. 

● Understands the power of social media including Pinterest.

● Is confident and enthusiastic when presenting information to decision-makers.

● Has natural curiosity, is passionate and has a strong desire to learn.

● Is highly organized to document all notes with current accounts and potential accounts.

● Consistent and persistent with follow-ups to potential clients to close sales.

● Preferred experience in the wedding & event industry.

Want to Apply?

This position is full-time plus bonuses. You would be working at the boutique including on Saturdays and driving to appointments across Central Florida throughout the week. Must be available evening and weekends for networking events, appointments, and wedding shows. 

Pay range $32,000 - $38,000 base annually plus monthly bonus based on goals reached.
