About The Bridal Finery

Established in 2017, The Bridal Finery is a luxury bridal boutique located in the heart of Winter Park, Florida. Locally owned by two Orlando women, the boutique specializes in both off-the-rack and special order designer wedding dresses. We are known for delivering a personalized, high-touch experience that supports each bride from the moment they inquire through their walk down the aisle.

Our services include private bridal styling appointments, in-house alteration fittings, exclusive designer trunk shows, and curated accessory shopping experiences. Our collection features over 300 designer gowns in sample sizes 0–16, with special order gowns ranging from $4,000–$15,000.

Fashion Internship

The Bridal Finery is seeking a Fashion Intern for the Fall 2026 semester (August 24 – December 3). This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Communications, or a related field who are looking for hands-on experience inside a luxury bridal boutique.

As an intern, you'll gain exposure to luxury retail operations, bridal styling, merchandising, client experience, inventory management, marketing, and the day-to-day operations of a growing fashion business. You'll work alongside experienced bridal stylists and business owners while learning what it takes to deliver an exceptional luxury shopping experience.

This internship is designed to provide meaningful industry experience while allowing students to apply classroom concepts in a real-world environment.

Schedule

  • Internship Dates: August 24, 2026 – December 3, 2026

  • Flexible schedule based on school requirements

  • Preferred availability on Fridays and Saturdays

  • Approximately 10–20 hours per week (or as required by your academic program)

Internship Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Observe and assist bridal stylists during appointments and fittings.

  • Help prepare the boutique for daily appointments, ensuring a polished and welcoming environment.

  • Assist with visual merchandising, accessory displays, and showroom presentation.

  • Organize and maintain inventory, including unpacking, steaming, tagging, and stocking gowns and accessories.

  • Excited to be part of a fashion-forward environment, including trying on wedding dresses for styling, fit, and merchandising education.

  • Comfortable appearing in photos and videos for social media, website content, and marketing initiatives as part of showcasing our boutique and designer collections.

  • Support event preparation for trunk shows and boutique events.

  • Learn booking systems and assist with scheduling appointments when appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate client records and appointment notes.

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.

  • Provide support with general boutique operations and special projects.

  • Shadow members of the leadership team to gain insight into business operations, entrepreneurship, and luxury retail management.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university (Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Communications, or related field preferred)

  • Passionate about fashion and luxury retail

  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional

  • Organized with strong attention to detail

  • Eager to learn and willing to take initiative

  • Comfortable interacting with clients in a luxury environment

  • Interested in social media, branding, and visual storytelling

  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced boutique setting

  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable

  • At least 18 years old with reliable transportation

  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting gowns or boxes up to 25 lbs.

We welcome applications from Rollins, UCF, and other college students. While we cannot guarantee academic credit through your school, we are happy to work with you to explore internship credit opportunities if available. This is a paid internship. Applicants should also be comfortable trying on wedding dresses and appearing in social media content, including TikTok and Instagram.
