Wedding Dresses for Venue 1010 West Orlando

Towards the end of last year, Roberta and I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jessica from 1010 West. In a city with almost 400 wedding venues (according to Wedding Venue Maps), we are always skeptical of how a new venue will be different than what we currently have available in the Central Florida area. The first time we heard about 1010 West was through a bride. She discovered this venue while looking for an alternative space. Once we heard it was an old WWII airplane hangar, we were intrigued.  After we finalized the interior space of The Bridal Finery, we kept on thinking about 1010 West. We both have an industrial chic vibe! We set up a time to meet with Jessica and learn more about the venue.

Features of 1010 West Wedding Venue

This hidden gem is located just outside the heart of Downtown Orlando. The hidden hangar features a balance of rustic and industrial interiors. The entrance features a cocktail ally with market lights dangling from above. When you enter the space, you instantly get an eclectic party vibe. The floors are stained concrete and the walls are a nice balance of brick, wood, and concrete. The 5,400 square foot space allows for plenty of room to make it your own and personalize. The venue is a beautiful choice for a trendy couple looking for something off the beaten path of traditional wedding planning. Now let's get to the wedding dresses!

Wedding Dress Recommendations for 1010 West Weddings

Theia crepe wedding dress.jpg

I love a chic gown for this venue. There is texture through the venue so the contrast of a sleek gown would be so beautiful. The spaghetti strap is very current especially when paired with an open back. I'm always a fan of effortless glamour!

Theia wedding dress with art deco bodice.jpg

A little boho and a little art deco! What a beautiful combination. The skirt flows when you walk while the bodice provides great structure and fashion. This dress is for a fashion lover who cares about comfort.

Theia wedding dress with floral.jpg

A balance of floral and edgy. 1010 West represents a bride not afraid of being different and going against the traditional wedding rules. It's important though to still feel like a bride. This dress provides a bridal feel with an artistic point of view. The wedding dress is a sheath cut with a sweep train.
