You are invited to our very first Maria Elena Headpieces & Girl and a Serious Dream Trunk Show!

Today we closed up shop and started prepping for our trunk show on March 23rd - 26th! Roberta and I could not be more excited to feature Maria Elena Headpieces and Girl and a Serious Dream collections inside our very own boutique! Below are frequently asked questions regarding trunk shows and accessories.

What is an Accessories Trunk Show?

A trunk show is when designers send in their latest collection for brides to preview. During a trunk show you can expect to see more options than what we typically have in stock.  Designer, Anita, from Girl and a Serious Dream will be visiting the boutique on Saturday and Sunday of the show. She will be here to provide styling advice and to assist with custom changes.

What pieces will be arriving for the show?

The concept of this trunk show is to save brides time while providing them with options. One stop shopping! The trunk show will include bridal hairpieces, earrings, bracelets, clutches, veils, bridal robes, bridesmaid robes, bridal cover ups, and bridal lingerie.

Is there a discount during an accessories trunk show?

There are trunk show perks we are able to extend to our clients during a trunk show. We will share all the details with you when you arrive! Clients may take advantage of the perks by purchasing the accessory pieces during the trunk show dates.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend bringing any items you have purchased for your wedding attire. If you have a family heirloom or previously purchased accessory piece, please bring it in so we may help pair everything together.  This is your time to see your full bridal style come together.

Should you purchase a hairpiece before a hair trial?

Brides are often concerned on whether they should purchase a hairpiece before a hair trial or after. Just about every hairpiece can be work with your hair all the way down, half-up, and in a full up-do. We recommend purchasing your hairpiece early and bringing it to your hair trial. It is ideal to bring your jewelry and veil to your hair trial as well. This will allow for your hair artist to become family with the pieces and show you the different ways they can be applied. While Roberta and I are not hair professionals, we do know how to pin up your hair in a mock up-do to give you a visual on how the hairpiece will look. we recommend bringing a hair inspiration photo with you to the appointment.  We look forward to showing you the different ways to wear your hairpiece.
