Chanel Iman’s Perfect Springtime Wedding

On March 3rd, 2018 Supermodel Chanel Iman tied the knot with New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard. The Ceremony and reception took place in Beverly Hills, California. Since first meeting at an event through a mutual friend. The couple has seemed to be inseparable. For a year and a half they dated before getting engaged. They were engaged for only three months before getting married. I believe it’s safe to say that sometimes when you know, you just know.

Chanel Iman Wore a Zuhari Murad wedding gown

Iman wore a beautiful floral Zuhair Murad gown. The Lebanese fashion designer has said that her dress “took over one hundred hours to make.” Iman told Brides Magazine that she wanted a classic wedding gown, something that embodied simplicity and elegance. She added a short cape to her shoulders for an element of surprise. She accessorized with Neil Lane earrings. Her bridesmaids were styled in white gowns by Watters. The flower girls dresses were designed beautifully by the bride’s mother. Shepard; the groom, along with groomsmen wore simple black tuxedos for the ceremony.

The Details of the Beverly Hills Wedding 

The pair appointed party consultant; Mindy Weiss to help facilitate their perfect springtime wedding. Weiss executed the spring time theme perfectly. The dreamy ceremony took place underneath a custom bridal tent in the garden of the hotel. Something that Iman kept in mind when choosing her dress was the ceremony. She wanted the back of her gown to match beautifully with the garden theme of the wedding (great idea). The weddings guest list included stars such as Chrissy Teigen, Odell Beckham, Gabrielle Union and many more A-list celebrities.

Iman's Wedding Reception 

After the couple pronounced their vows everyone headed over to an even more beautiful reception. Adorned with the finest flowers from Mark's Garden. The alluring ballroom was decorated with an infinite amount of white candles and beautiful dimmed lights, displaying a rose-gold motif. Iman later changed into her reception dress, a soft pink Zuhair Murad gown with a plunging neckline. The perfect dress for dancing to a live band and celebrating love.
