Bride wears Ines Di Santo wedding dress to Mexico destination wedding

For some love stories, the universe definitely has its hand in the mix to make things happen. For our bride Taylor and her husband Paul, this was definitely the case for the beginning of their journey together. The pair were working as medical sales representatives for two different companies, yet kept running into each other on the job. For these love birds, the third time was the charm, and a huge sign, that they needed to exchange numbers and get to know each other better. Keep reading for more on Taylor and Paul’s love story!

How did you & your partner meet? : We were both medical sales reps at different companies. My first week working, I walked into a doctors office in Deland, Florida and he was there. I went to another office in Orange City that same day and he was at that office as well! The following weekend we ran into each other in downtown Orlando and exchanged numbers.

Where was your first date? : Shake shack in Winter Park!! He gave me peanut butter M&Ms afterwards.

How did your partner propose? : Quick back story, he had told me his grandma in England wanted an updated picture of us and this was probably 4 days prior. He told me we were meeting one of our doctor friends who we both worked with down at world of beer by lake Eola. As we were walking he had a secret photographer set up who seemed like a normal guy and asked to take our picture for his grandma. Far behind us down by the lake two friends held a banner that said “Will you marry me Taylor?” But by the time I turned around they weren’t there. As we got closer to the lake he showed me the picture and in the picture was the banner and he got down on one knee. I was in complete shock!!! Completely clueless. Best experience of my life.

What was your dress shopping experience like? : Absolutely perfect from the moment I walked in the door!! Tali, Roberta and Jamie made the experience amazing. They made me feel so special and wanted to know more about me before just trying on dresses. They truly cared. By the end, they were my friends!!

What did you wish you knew before you started wedding planning?: Don’t have any expectations from anyone outside of you and your husband!

Where was your wedding? What did you decide on that space?: Ceremony was on a pier over the beach in Riviera Maya. Reception was on a rooftop overlooking the water and beach. We chose this venue because the views were everything!!! Didn’t even need decorations.
