Our newest obsession might just be an elegant backyard wedding. Our bride, Ingrid, and her husband, Jake celebrate their wedding at Ingrid’s parents’ home in Windermere, Florida. The humble abode hosted one of the most beautiful and elegant weddings we have ever seen. Wedding planner, Lisa Stoner, and wedding designer, and florist, Eduardo Perrone completely transformed the Arvelo’s home. From endless white floral and greenery tablescapes to trending letter designs for the pool, this wedding is sure to be one we’ll be talking about into the new year. Weddings at a resident’s home offer a relaxing, intimate, and comforting feel to the bride, groom, and guests. However, backyard weddings, don’t always mean bbq and flip flops. This backyard wedding in Windermere was anything but casual. Bride wears Carolina Herrera at Classic Winter Park Backyard Wedding

Less than ten weeks ago, Padgett walked into The Bridal Finery to find her wedding dress. I sat down to learn more about her and Greg. Instantly, I could tell this is a woman with a sophisticated style. My mind started to wonder toward the Carolina Herrera and Oscar De La Renta dresses. Within a few dress try ons she narrowed her search down to two Carolina Herrera dresses. Both suited her quite well. I pinned her hair up so she could see the full look. She went with the strapless gown providing her more flexibility to hug and dance. The other Carolina gown was beautiful on her but restricted her arms. Next came the dress fittings. Our seamstress Sarah encouraged her to wear the dress as it was designed. The dress came with a detachable skirt and can be worn several ways.
