The Bridal Finery Attends New York Bridal Fashion Week: Behind The Scenes and Our Top Picks
Every April and October, designers, press, and buyers from all over the world travel to New York City to attend and showcase at Bridal Fashion Week. Designers spend months sketching, planning, and designing their collections to present to buyers and press. Months of work are shown in 15-minute fashion shows and hour-long buying appointments throughout long weekends in April and October. We attend Bridal Fashion Week as buyers. The designers present the collections and we strategically make decisions for what to purchase for our brides. Every bridal store makes their own individual buying decisions. Stores in Paris and Japan will make very different buying decisions than a store in Florida or California, for example. Press includes Social Media team members and influencers from blogs and publications like The Knot and Vogue Weddings. In New York, we were able to visit and explore designers and brands we are familiar and unfamiliar with. This allows us to research new lines while visiting and viewing our current collections. While in New York, we also took the time to enjoy ourselves. We got our hair done and enjoyed the city’s endless food options.
Real Bride Pamela Shares Her Dress Experience at The Bridal Finery For Her Bella Collina Wedding.
Congratulations, Pamela and Brian! Pamela found her Anne Barge ballgown with us in our Winter Park bridal boutique for her Italian wedding at Bella Collina. Pamela is a dream bride! Our entire team enjoyed helping her find her wedding gown and meeting her husband at each appointment. It’s not often we have the chance to get to know the grooms. Pamela is incredibly kind and bubbly and loves Audrey Hepburn, so TBF Owner & Stylist, Tali hand-selected the ‘Reverie’ gown by Anne Barge for her special day. This gown has Pamela’s sweet and fun personality through the beading and the classic taste of Audrey Hepburn.
Congratulations, Pamela & Brian! We wish you the happiest first year of marriage.

An American Wedding at the Dromoland Castle in County Clare, Ireland During the Summer
Congratulations to The Bridal Finery real bride, Shannon! Shannon is a bride our team loved styling. Her entire wedding planning experience was a dream and we totally lived through her vicariously! From her Bachelorette party in Cartagena, Colombia to her honeymoon in Ibiza, Spain; Anacapri, Italy; Ubud, Bali; Seminyak, Bali; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and Tokyo, Japan, we loved being a small part of her wedding story. To help bring this Irish romantic wedding to life, Roberta selected the most perfect dress for Shannon. Shannon wore a drop-waist full lace ball gown by Monique Lhuillier. Unlike most ball gowns, this gown features a horsehair lining, giving the gown full shape, body, and pleating. Because Shannon’s ceremony was in a cathedral and the reception in a ballroom, she wanted the versatility of long sleeves and strapless. Our seamstress, Sarah was able to bring this request to life through a detachable long sleeve lace bolero and detachable off the shoulder piece. Thank you, Shannon for entrusting us with your bridal style! We wish you the happiest marriage.

This gown was perfect for her romantic island wedding. Chevelle’s bridal style was completed with an over skirt by Theia. This over skirt gave Chevelle two different looks, one for ceremony and one for reception.
