Roberta and I were meeting with a wardrobe stylist when we heard the news of Kate Spade passing. In memory of all the beauty she created, we wanted to share our favorite Kate Spade wedding pieces. Kate Spade has always been my go to for special gifts for engagements and wedding showers. When she first came out with the "pop, fizz, clink" merchandise, I started to really fall in love with the brand. The packaging, the specialty pieces, and even the shoes. I owned one pair of Kate Spade heels and let's just say I wore them longer than I should have. I bought them at Kate Spade Millenia in Orlando and they were just so comfortable and added that pop of color to my solid black wardrobe. My first "designer" purse was a Kate Spade. I still have it and haven't been able to part with it quiet yet although I've moved onto larger purses that allow me to carry more of my belongings.

Kari and I use to work together at a bridal boutique years ago.  After she left the boutique to pursue a new career, I reached out to her for a styled shoot. She modeled a lace wedding dress and bridal accessories for an editorial spread. When Kari got engaged, she reached out to me while we were building The Bridal Finery. Then, two weeks after we opened she found her Ines Di Santo wedding dress with us! 

A week after we opened, Maegen walked into our boutique to search for her wedding dress. She had a clear vision of what she was looking for and the moment she tried her Ines Di Santo it was obvious that was the one. Maegen and her husband had an intimate ceremony and reception at their private airplane hanger. Every last detail was planned by the bride-to-be. 

I'm a minimalist when it comes to jewelry. There are days I don't wear jewelry with the exception of my wedding band. Roberta on the other hand is always rocking her latest Henri Bendel piece or custom earrings Erin Cole.  When it comes to wedding day, I'm a firm believer in a complete look including hairpiece, bracelet, earrings, veil, and garter.  When else will you get to be so fancy? Here are my top tips for styling your wedding dress without feeling like you are overdoing it. Simple is always elegant after all.

Roberta and I will be celebrating The Bridal Finery's 1/2 Birthday tomorrow! We opened the bridal boutique November 20, 2017. I've never been one to celebrate anniversaries, but times have changed and now I believe in celebrating every moment small and big. So let's celebrate!
