We interviewed our in house seamstress, Sarah, regarding wedding dress alterations. She provided us with advice on what to bring, how many fittings, and answers to the major alteration questions. Sarah meets with our clients in our Winter Park | Orlando boutique twice a week.

The tides in an endless ocean of ivory dresses are changing. When choosing a wedding dress there is so much to consider, the Silhouettes, Necklines, Waistlines, Embellishments, Fabric, Hem, Train. Whatever your preference may be, colors in wedding dresses have been a feature that most brides stay away from. However this is all changing, a woman is preferring to add a little something extra to their wedding dresses to make it that much more custom to them.

Times have certainly changed. Now over half of our clients purchase their own wedding dress and using the website Pinterest to plan your wedding is a cultural norm.  Wedding guests Uber to the wedding so they don't have to worry about drinking and driving. Air B&B can host wedding guests with a comfort of home. The desire for well made, quality garments is trending, but no need to walk around with a label plastered across your chest. I have to say I kind of love this life.

On photo shoot day, Roberta dressed the models while I steamed the wedding dresses. We styled our bridal models in Sareh Nouri bridal gowns. All the accessories are from Maria Elena Headpieces, Erin Cole Jewelry, and Girl with a Serious Dream. Kristen was able to upload the photos instantly to the laptop so we could view the photos as she was capturing them.
